How I Start Every Monday Morning

I start every Monday morning off the same way: I make my coffee and I review my company's weekly financial report. I spend zero time compiling the report; I only review it.

It's my Business Analyst Bot, a Zapier agent, who goes through all my Airtable records every Monday morning and sends me a report on where my business stands. The screenshot below is the actual, real report I got this morning, just with specific financial numbers scrubbed for privacy.

Knowing my numbers isn't optional. It's the thing that tells me whether I'm actually on track or just busy. So the report breaks down revenue collected vs. pending, progress against quarterly targets, and where I land against the bigger picture for the year. It also includes a few specific things to focus on, based on the actual numbers, not generic advice.

It's become the thing I start every Monday with. No more sifting through data myself and doing math to figure out where things stand.

Also important: this automated weekly report is only useful for me because my Airtable data is airtight. If I had messy, inconsistent data in Airtable, I'd get a messy, inconsistent report.

If you're running something similar (or want to), happy to share the actual prompt and setup I use! Just comment below or shoot me a message.
