Frequently Asked Questions

  • Power Up Starter starts at $3,500, the Power Up Pro starts at $10,000/month, and the Power Up Partner retainer is custom. But every engagement is scoped around your specific situation, so pricing varies. The best way to figure out what makes sense for you is to book a free discovery call. No pressure, just a conversation!

  • Every engagement is tailored. The packages are starting points, not rigid checklists. Before any work begins, we align on exactly what you need built and why, so you're paying for what actually moves the needle for your business, not a generic bundle.

  • No. Most projects are scoped as a fixed engagement with a clear start and end. Ongoing support retainers are available after a project wraps, but those are month-to-month. You're never locked in.

  • It depends on scope. A Power Up Starter typically wraps in four to six weeks. A Pro engagement usually runs one to three months. I build in buffer time because real-world projects often involve real-world variables.

  • We start with a discovery call to make sure we're a good fit. If we move forward, I send a proposal, we sign an agreement, and then we kick off with a deeper discovery session where I learn your tools, your team, and how you actually work. From there I design and build, check in along the way, and close with walkthrough and Loom documentation so your team knows exactly how everything works.

  • Not much upfront. The main thing I need early on is access to your tools, your accounts, and a few hours of your time for the kickoff session. After that, I try to keep your involvement light. You'll hear from me at key decision points, but the goal is for you to feel the results without being buried in the process.

  • I primarily build in Zapier and Airtable, though I work across a wide range of tools depending on what your team already uses. I never recommend adding a new tool unless it genuinely solves a problem you have, and I'll flag any new software costs before they show up on your bill. One of the first things I do with most clients is a tech stack audit to identify what you're already using and paying for.

  • Not at all. I work with founders and operators, not developers. Everything I build is designed to be understandable and maintainable by a non-technical team. I also document everything so you're never left wondering how something works or what to do if something changes.

  • Automations can break when tools update, APIs change, or something in your workflow shifts. That's normal. For clients on a retainer, I monitor things proactively and handle issues as they come up. For project-based clients, I'm always reachable, and if something breaks shortly after handoff, I'll fix it. I'm not the kind of person who disappears once the project is done.

  • Small to mid-sized businesses, usually somewhere between 5 and 50 people, that are growing faster than their systems can keep up with. My clients are typically founders, operators, and small teams who know something is broken or inefficient, but just don't have the time or expertise to fix it. I'm not the right fit for early-stage startups with no budget, or enterprise companies with a full IT team. I'm the person you call when you're serious about scaling and ready to invest in doing it right.

  • A few things. I was named Zapier's 2024 Automation Hero of the Year, which reflects a decade of doing this work, not just as a consultant, but as the person responsible for making the whole operation run. I also work directly with every client myself. You're not handed off to a junior team member. And I'm focused on building systems that are reliable, documented, and built to last, not quick fixes that create more problems down the road.

  • Usually when automations fail, it's one of three things: they were built too fast without understanding how the team actually works, they weren't documented so nobody knew how to maintain them, or they solved the wrong problem. My process starts with real discovery. I want to understand your workflow before I build anything. And everything I build comes with documentation so your team can actually use it.
